Who’s Going to be the Successor of Warren Buffett?
“What’s the name in the sealed envelope Mr. Buffett?” — This is the million Dollar question.
This famous revelation by the man himself (he sealed the name of his successor in an envelope in his office in Omaha, Nebraska), only helped to create a further buzz more than anything else.
Insiders’ view points out that Mr. Buffett will likely have two successors, a Chief Investment Officer, who is going to be managing the firm's huge investment portfolio, and a Chief Executive, who will be in charge of the roughly 80 companies in the Berkshire stable.
Ask the close watchers, and most will tell you that there is a growing expectation that the Chief Executive will be Mr. David Sokol, the 53-year-old Chairman of Berkshire unit MidAmerican Energy Holdings Co. Click here
